Wesleyan Investment Foundation Retires Mortgage on World Headquarters

The CEO of Wesleyan Investment Foundation (WIF), Dr. Craig Dunn, and WIF board chair John Storey presented The Wesleyan Church with a check for $815,000 during General Conference 2008 in Orlando. The gift erased the balance on the World Headquarters building in Indianapolis. On behalf of the Board of General Superintendents, Dr. Jerry G. Pence said, "We would like to thank Wesleyan Investment Foundation for their continued vision for helping our denomination in fulfilling the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment."

WIF provided the land on which the Olio Road building is located, and it has given grants in excess of $4 million toward the building's $6 million total cost. Dr. Dunn said, "Wesleyan Investment Foundation is pleased to be able to help the denomination in this way."
