Youth Director : Part-Time
Posted: 2010-08-18
We are looking for someone to lead ministry with our teens. We have a good core group that participate regularly and a larger number of teens that come occasionally, so there is potential for growth. We have a youth band that leads worship in the youth meetings.
We want a youth leader to disciple our teens to become mature believers in Christ and take them beyond just fun and games. Most importantly, we need someone to spend time to build relationships with the teens and not just run the weekly meeting.
Responsibilities include: Teen discipleship, weekly youth meetings, creating regular ministry opportunities for teens, monthly activity or two. Check out our group on Facebook!
This position is bi-vocational (15 hrs/week) and does not require a ministerial degree nor ordination (but it would be helpful). This would be a great place of ministry for a grounded Christian that has a full-time career but has a heart for young people.
