Philippine Wesleyan Church Tries to Rebuild After Typhoon

Nov. 5, 2009

Exact Location Of Crusher Wesleyan Church_Phillipines09.jpg

A parcel of land is all that remains of Crusher Wesleyan Church in the Philippines after the recent typhoons that claimed hundreds of lives. The church's parsonage was also destroyed. Nearly 400 Wesleyan families were directly affected by the storms.

"Before" pictures of the church at its 2006 dedication show the loss to the congregation. General Superintendent Dr. Jerry G. Pence said the congregation is now meeting in a garage. Rev. Alberto Patacsil, General Superintendent of the Philippines General Conference, asks Wesleyans to continue supporting the church in prayer and giving.
