Church Planter Coaching Download List of Certified Coaches

Coaching is the process of coming alongside a person or team to help them discover God's agenda and vision for their life and ministry. Through strategic goal-setting, asking powerful question, effective listening, determining priorities and action steps, and providing support, encouragement and accountability, a coach and coachee cooperate with the Holy Spirit to see that agenda become a reality. It is an empowering relationship that gives ownership of the journey and the outcomes to the person being coached. A coach walks the journey with you to help you succeed. And what is success? Finding out what God wants you to do and doing it!

We believe God is raising up a cadre of new church planters both young and old alike. Men and women who are going to be hungry to make a difference in their world; passionate about pursuing what God has laid on their heart. These new church planters need a trained, certified quality church planting coach!

The E&CG Department has partnered with CoachNet International, a leading innovator of church planting methodology and coaching, to develop the Wesleyan/CoachNet Coach Certification Training Program. It is an 8-month training process, and we now have 12 Certified Church Planter Coaches available to our church planters. Our church planter coaches are also available to coach leaders in other areas of ministry. The documents below will give you more detailed information about coaching, coach training, hiring a coach, and more about what's involved in the church planter coaching process.
