In the spirit of 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13a, October is designated "Pastor Appreciation" month, a time to express special appreciation to the pastors God has allowed to impact our lives and give leadership to our churches.
"Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work." (I Thessalonians 5:12-13a)
The Church encourages local church boards and leaders to find appropriate ways to express thanks.
