JESUS Film Partnership

MOST EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM TOOL EVER USED BY GLOBAL PARTNERS . . . The gospel message as expressed through the JESUS Film Partnership (JFP) is the most effective tool ever used by Global Partners for transforming lives, mobilizing lay-leaders, and planting churches. In 2002 the reported conversation rate per viewing was 19% (almost 120,000 people saw the film, over 23,000 conversions were reported). For 2003 the average is 18%, and we predict that at least one church will be planted by each team.

OVER THREE BILLION PEOPLE . . . Since 1979 more than half the world's population has been reached through the efforts of the JESUS Film Project. The JESUS film has been translated into more than 800 languages, and many more are in the process of translation. Over 800 organizations, including Global Partners, are partnering with Campus Crusade for Christ to show the JESUS film.

GLOBAL PARTNERS' STRATEGY . . . The JESUS Film Partnership focuses on places where there are established Wesleyan churches with viable leadership structures. We work through national structures which are already in place. National and district cooperation is foundational. The national church picks the team members, and the teams must be dedicated to the JFP for a full year, full-time. In-country strategy for evangelism and church planting is developed by the national church. The goal of the JFP is to see men and women saved and brought into existing churches and/or new church plants.

FIELD TEAMS ARE BEING DEPLOYED . . . Global Partners is sending film teams throughout the world to show the JESUS film in public squares, theaters, homes, and huts. Wesleyan churches are being empowered to bring in and disciple those who respond. Lives are being transformed. The world will be changed!

CAST THE NETS . . . We need all Wesleyans to be a part of this great endeavor. There are three important ways you can help those around the world be introduced to Jesus and the gospel message:

• PRAY . . . All the money in the world will not bring one person into the Kingdom. Unless this project is bathed in prayer, the results will not be realized. Will you commit to pray at least five minutes every day for the JESUS film? As an integral part of this "prayer force," you will be part of an army that literally circles the world and the clock in prayer so that the film teams are always covered.
• PROVIDE . . . Each team will need $15,000 per year to operate in a certain area, showing the film 50 times each year. In addition to the actual showings, the funds will cover pre-showing canvassing and preparation of the local churches for the event, post-showing follow-up and discipleship, literature and discipleship courses, and training of local pastors to work with their congregations to grow the church.
• PARTICIPATE . . . We are also looking for individuals from sponsoring churches who will go with training teams or with other sponsors to see firsthand what is happening on the fields. We welcome representatives who are interested in going with us to participate in what God is doing around the world.
