CCDA Conference 2017

An invitation to gather…

The CCDA National Conference is a unique gathering of practitioners and partners dedicated to the work of transforming and restoring communities through presence and practice. The National Conference is commonly referred to as a family reunion––an opportunity for like-minded and like-hearted members of the CCDA families to come together for celebration, lament, refreshment, and learning. The National Conference is a place in society that sets a safe table for engagement, creating a space for challenging conversations to happen around a common table.

We invite partners and practitioners from all over the country and around the world to gather with us. We are mindful of the various environments that people come from, seeking to welcome the rural, small town, suburban and urban practitioners in our midst. We have carved out spaces in our gathering specifically for pastors, educators, business people and other necessary contributors to the conversation of restoring communities. We recognize the breadth of our membership and seek to be a gathering for our friends sitting at opposite ends of the political spectrum. We value the diversity of voices and the collection of stories that our family brings to this annual gathering. The table is set and the invitation stands. We hope you’ll join us.
