In co-sponsorship with Education & Clergy Development of The Wesleyan Church, Azusa Pacific and Indiana Wesleyan University, we are pleased to invite you attend our conference on clergy wellness: Flourishing in Pastoral Ministry. This conference is targeted toward Professional Counselors and other mental health providers interested in providing care for clergy. Others with interest in the care of clergy are also invited to attend.
This interdisciplinary conference is a rare and significant opportunity to call together researchers, professional counselors, and others from a variety of fields to explore the best practices, systems, and supports for clergy health and well being. We especially invite as presenters those whose research and professional interests target the facilitation of wellness, prevention of burn-out, compassion fatigue, and stress management and related issues. The goal of this conference is to equip mental health practitioners with tools for best practices in clergy care. (The intended audience is not members of the clergy seeking to gain tools for their personal self-care or self-help.)
