The Wesleyan Church will convene for General Conference June 6-9, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri.

“The General Board made the courageous decision in March to postpone General Conference 2020 in order to allow The Wesleyan Church to focus on ministry during COVID-19,” said General Superintendent Wayne Schmidt. “I am thankful to report that all 2020 conference contractual obligations were transferred to 2021 without financial penalty. I am even more thankful to report that our local churches, mission fields, districts and headquarters have been ministering during COVID-19 with selfless courage, endless creativity and effectiveness.

“I was initially disappointed that we were not going to be able to convene General Conference in 2020,” Schmidt said, “but I quickly placed my plans at God’s feet. We have been praying to be Unleashed as a Kingdom Force and I have watched you, Wesleyan Church family, spread out and fill gaps glorifying our God while caring for our neighbors during this season. God bless you!”

Details related to General Conference 2021 logistics are being revised and will be communicated when finalized.
