Kids In Worship Grant Initiative

The Kids in Worship Grant Initiative is underway, and we are so excited to start working with churches as they engage children in corporate worship and prayer!

Throughout the application process we discovered several churches across our denomination are already engaging in worship practices that engage all generations. And many more are looking to begin this journey.

We are so excited to announce the following churches have been selected to participate in the Kids in Worship Grant Initiative:

  • Crossroads – Brookhaven Wesleyan Church

**Because no applications were submitted from this district, this spot was filled with a church from another district who stood out to our team. We are pleased to share that Together Church from the Great Lakes District was selected.

Now that participating churches have been selected, these churches will take part in training experiences and collaboration and be given funds to assist with worship enhancements. As these churches explore and learn they will bring their insights back to their districts.

Congratulations again to our selected churches! We are excited to see this initiative impact churches across our movement.

Each selected church will be hiring one ministerial intern to journey alongside them throughout this process. Preference will be given to those sensing a calling and pursuing training for ministry in the Wesleyan Church. Initial internship applications open September 8, 2025 and close November 30, 2025.

Qualified Internship Candidates will demonstrate the following:
