2024 Keynote speaker is Dr. Ellen Marmon, Professor of Christian Discipleship at Asbury Theological Seminary.
The registration form includes a space to indicate if you want to pay extra $76 by credit card for the Wednesday night individual room. Otherwise, the cost of your double-occupancy room (two beds) is FREE as part of the event and you will have a roommate. Meals included in free registration are Wednesday evening dinner, breakfast at hotel, and Thursday lunch. Please register for GSTS by January 19, 2024.
What
The Wesleyan Church and the Free Methodist Church are hosting the annual Graduate Students’ Theological Seminar (GSTS). Topics center on academic research related to the foundational practices for preparing ministers (theology, Bible, history, philosophy, and practical ministry). This Seminar brings together doctoral students and various faculty to encourage and develop new scholarship, build relationships, and facilitate networking.
Who
Doctoral students in Ministry, Theology, Biblical Studies, Philosophy, and other related fields who are hoping to give service to The Wesleyan Church in Higher Education. Final year seminary students who are planning to go directly on to Doctoral work and faculty from the Religion departments from our Wesleyan Institutions.
