The registration process includes information pertaining to lodging, food, and your student or professional association.

Lodging for Wednesday night is provided by The Wesleyan Church. You will automatically be assigned a room with two double beds along with a roommate, but you may request a roommate during registration. If you wish to have a single room, you will be charged an additional $76 by credit card.

GSTS begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 and concludes at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 13. The Wesleyan Church provides a banquet on Wednesday evening, breakfast at the hotel on Thursday, and a Thursday lunch.

WTS REGISTRATION AND LODGING

If you will also be attending the meetings of the Wesleyan Theological Society (WTS), you will need to register separately for that event: WTS Registration.

If you desire to stay at the same hotel in the same room for both events, you will need to contact the hotel and make additional reservations @  Springhill Suites

TRAVEL STIPEND

Here is a link to the expense form for travel expense reimbursements for students and faculty.  We will reimburse up to $500/person (or up to $800 for two representatives of the same institution) for airfare (if flying) or mileage (if using personal vehicle) or rental and/or fuel (if renting a vehicle).

What

The Wesleyan Church and the Free Methodist Church are hosting the annual Graduate Students’ Theological Seminar (GSTS). Topics center on academic research related to the foundational practices for preparing ministers (theology, Bible, history, philosophy, and practical ministry). This Seminar brings together doctoral students and various faculty to encourage and develop new scholarship, build relationships, and facilitate networking.

Who

Doctoral students in Ministry, Theology, Biblical Studies, Philosophy, and other related fields who are hoping to give service to The Wesleyan Church in Higher Education. Final year seminary students who are planning to go directly on to Doctoral work and faculty from the Religion departments from our Wesleyan Institutions.

Space is currently limited to 30 Wesleyan and Wesleyan representative attendees. Your registration is requested by January 31, 2025.
