Mountain Plains Assistant District Superintendent Arlynn Ellis announced that the Acts of Hope Center in San Antonio, Texas, is collecting funds to help with the Texas flood relief efforts. San Antonio is 70 miles from the Hill Country.

Ellis said, “Acts of Hope will be providing resources such as medications, personal hygiene items, diapers, clothing and cleaning supplies on a weekly basis. Our goal is to help fill in the gaps left by the many unexpected and urgent needs.”

Donations, which are tax-deductible, can be sent to https://actsofhope.org/.

Ellis asks us to “…keep Texas in your prayers. Pray for peace. Pray for protection. Pray for comfort. And most of all, pray that we continue to be the light of Christ in the darkest of places.”
