Michael J. Skor
Assistant General Superintendent
Rev. Michael J. Skor serves as the assistant general superintendent of The Wesleyan Church, where he provides leadership, vision and support to leaders and churches across the denomination.
Previously, Michael has engaged in ministry as district superintendent, pastor, church planter, consultant and speaker. He brings a unique ability to lead through cultural diversity and organizational growth.
His life message centers on one word: develop. Michael is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus, strengthening leaders and building biblically functioning community through intentional systems and discipleship pathways.
Michael holds degrees from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Wesley Seminary, Marion, Indiana. Upon his election at the 15th General Conference, Michael concluded his service as district superintendent of the Pacific Southwest District of The Wesleyan Church.
He and his wife, Kiley, have been married for over 31 years and have two adult sons. They enjoy hiking, camping and making lasting memories together.
