The 2026 General Conference of The Wesleyan Church (TWC) elected 24 leaders to serve as General Board members for the next four years on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Marion, Indiana.
Newly elected General Board
The Discipline of The Wesleyan Church requires the election of 12 lay and 12 ministerial members to serve as area representatives on the General Board. This board is comprised of 25 voting members; area representatives and the General Superintendent. Non-voting members of the board with voice are TWC executive directors, the general treasurer/chief financial officer, the chief executive officer of Wesleyan Investment Foundation, the chief executive officer of Wesleyan Pension Fund and TWC university presidents.
Each representative aligns with the theme of the 2026 General Conference, “Empowered,” follows the membership leadership requirements and is willingly available to attend all meetings of the General Board.
2026-2030 General Board area representatives are:
Northeastern Representative Area
Lay: Emily Last, Tammy Leonard, Earl McJett
Ministerial: Anita Eastlack, Mike Hilson, Caleb Carr
North Central Representative Area
Lay: Jeff Clark, Arianna Eckart, Timi Olutade
Ministerial: Ken Murphy, Chris Conrad, Emily Vermilya
Southern Representative Area
Lay: Scott Drury, Marsha Flinchum, Sherry Keye
Ministerial: Tim Jones, Josh Ratliff, Matt Mitchell
Western Representative Area

Ministerial: Wesley Smith, Phill Tague, William (Billy) Wilson
