Michele Kirkpatrick, 45, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away January 16, 2016, at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She worked at The Wesleyan Church Headquarters in both Wesleyan Publishing House and Spiritual Formation in the mid-2000s. Michele was a member of Princeton Wesleyan Church, where she served as church business manager and co-worship leader. Her husband, Rev. Douglas Kirkpatrick, pastors Princeton Wesleyan.

Survivors include her husband, three children, Rachel, Mark and David Kirkpatrick at home; her mother, Joan Downey of Wyanet; her father, Bruce (Paula) Pembor Sr. of Franklin, Ind.; her stepchildren, Kristine (Ryan) Smith of Indianapolis and Tim (Katie) Kirkpatrick of Louisiana; two stepgrandchildren; her brother, Bruce (Stacey) Pembor Jr. of Indianapolis; her stepbrother, Nathan Luzny of Alaska; her niece, Wendy Pembor of Florida.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cora Lorraine Kirkpatrick.

Her brother-in-law, Rodger Kirkpatrick, currently serves with Wesleyan Publishing House in Fishers, Ind.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, in St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Princeton, with the Rev. Dean Pierce of the DeKalb Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, in the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton.
