Our hearts are with our Wesleyan family in the Philippines following the recent earthquake that has impacted communities across the region.
We are in communication with General Superintendent Rev. Amos Anteg and local leaders as they assess conditions and care for those affected. We are grateful for early reports of God’s protection, while recognizing that many churches and communities are still evaluating the full extent of the damage.
Global Partners is working alongside World Hope International and Wesleyan leaders on the ground to determine specific needs and possible response efforts, including opportunities through the Wesleyan Emergency Relief Fund (WERF).
As the body of Christ, when one part suffers, we all suffer together. Today, we invite The Wesleyan Church around the world to pray for our brothers and sisters in the Philippines—for safety, wisdom, provision, and the hope of Christ to shine brightly in the days ahead.
We will share updates and ways to respond as more information becomes available.
