A wildfire near Soldotna, Alaska, has burned over 300 square miles and officials are still having difficulty containing the blaze. Over a thousand homes and other structures in the area have been ordered to be evacuated since Sunday. Pastor Brian Wahl has opened the Wesleyan church as one location for displaced families needing food and shelter. Many of the church people are helping in any way they can. Please pray that the people will be able to return to their homes, and that they will have God’s peace over fear. Thank you for your prayers.
