Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. (Rev. 3:3)

What if you had all the answers to the test? Think back to a time in school when you were facing a test and someone took the time to explain all the material. You would do anything within your means to remember those answers to do well on the test. Or what about that teacher or professor who let the class bring a notecard with information on it to a final? We all know that notecard was filled with information in the tiniest print to every edge. Why do we live our day-to-day lives any differently when trying to remember the truths God has given us in his Word?

The thing is that we know where to find all the answers, and we know who holds them. God has everything in his hands and the Spirit is faithful to guide us along the way. We just need to remember, hold on to it, and be open to guidance and correction as needed. God is a faithful and patient teacher who walks beside us in our journey of learning to live like Christ.

What does it look like for you to be a student of Christ? Take time to carry the answers with you no matter where you go. We all have it within us to be lifelong learners.

Ask God to show you where you can learn more.
