Freedom Sunday is fast approaching, and we at World Hope International hope you are getting as excited as we are! We are so eager to see the church come together to stand for freedom on July 2nd. As a reminder–no sign up is required! Simply use any or all of the resources in our toolkit to engage your church or small group on the issue of human trafficking. Educate, pray, and give.

We hope that you will utilize this moving video we have created in celebration of Freedom Sunday. It highlights an all-too-common narrative in rural Liberia. As parents send their children into the cities in search of education, they are often trafficked for labor and cannot obtain safety or schooling. Thankfully, the story doesn’t have to end there. This video features what World Hope is doing to fight trafficking Liberia through our anti-trafficking hotline, rescue efforts, and reintegration programs. We hope that your church will be inspired to help us continue this vital project!

We are also proud to share that Wesleyan churches in the U.S. are actively engaged in fighting domestic trafficking. In your toolkit, you will find a list of domestic anti-trafficking projects supported by Wesleyan churches and districts.

As promised, we have all the tools you will need to call your church to action. Access a toolkit to help your church participate. There you will find these helpful resources:

Freedom Sunday lets us stand alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ in the trenches of this atrocity by being “joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12). We pray that you will join us in giving voice to those trapped in cycles of trafficking on this Freedom Sunday.
