Janelle Vernon has been Publisher for Wesleyan Publishing House (WPH) for a little under 4 years. One of her favorite things since joining our team has been the realignment of WPH to better serve The Wesleyan Church and celebrates the fulfillment of our mission to communicate the life-changing message of holiness to the world.
Janelle’s favorite WPH resource is the Light from the Word daily devotional email subscription because beginning each day with the gift of God’s Word shared by one of our writer’s perspectives is a blessing.
One of Janelle’s favorite Christmas traditions is taking her family of eight (her husband, grown children and spouses and grandchildren) to a Christmas tree farm for a fun adventure!
During this busy time of year, she remembers Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.” Taking time to be still and know that God is God brings her peace and life-giving perspective.
Janelle brings many strengths to the WPH team. Her Gallup strengths include achiever, maximizer and connectedness that help shape her continued focus on ensuring WPH is serving the needs of The Wesleyan Church and all of our customers in ways that are meaningful, effective and efficient. Her individualization strength drives her goal of identifying and helping project emerging Wesleyan voices. We are thankful for Janelle’s leadership!
