Marie Drascic was hired in July as Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for Wesleyan Publishing House’s (WPH) social media, email newsletters and marketing plans. Marie is still learning a lot about our resources, but her favorite books so far are Transforming Presence by David Drury and Unforced Rhythms by Gwen Jackson. As she read these books, she learned a lot about herself, her expectations out of college and what it looks like to trust in the Lord in a new way. They challenged her faith by making her reconsider the pressures she put on herself and her relationship with God.

Her favorite part of her job is designing marketing posts because she loves creating a visual representation of WPH books and she is most excited about General Conference next year as she helps plan and implement future projects.

Marie’s family has many Christmas traditions including an annual cookie decorating party and a Christmas Eve movie with her cousins. She has three sisters, including her fraternal twin, and when they all get together, you can clearly see that they are related.

Marie graduated from Ball State University with a major in creative writing. She had an internship with a book bindery and letterpress shop her senior year, which inspired her and gave her a desire to work in publishing.

We are grateful for the passion and perspective Marie brings to the team!
