Kentwood (MI) Community Church has been stepping out in faith and obedience to God to establish a new Wesleyan church presence in the City of Wyoming, the largest suburb of Grand Rapids. When a former school came up for sale there, it was perfect, except they did not have any of the $1.6 million needed to seize the opportunity. It would take years to raise that. And then God spoke, again.
Pastor Kyle Ray told this amazing true story at the end of his Sunday morning message earlier in 2013. It was a surprise to the entire congregation.
