Listen to today’s devo!

The Lord is God; besides him there is no other. (Deut. 4:35)

How great is our God? He is so great that he challenges us to search to see whether anything is greater. Everything this world has to offer in its splendor and glory pales in comparison to the greatness of God. Look throughout history at all the accomplishments and achievements of kings, rulers, explorers, and inventors, and you will find none greater than God Almighty. No one has spoken superior wisdom, displayed mightier power, or shown greater love than God. Go ahead and search. Your findings will fall short every time.

God has shown you these things so you would know that he is the one and only God. He has displayed his wonder that we might turn to him for guidance. He has displayed his grandeur to prove to us that only God can provide and protect. God, in all of his brilliance and majesty, desires to be close to us, to love, lead, and bless us. He has proven himself throughout the ages, and those who obey his decrees and commands will find long life and blessings. Nothing this world has to offer compares to God’s goodness and provision. Seek him; trust in his ways and his goodness will dwell upon you and your family.

Praise God for his majesty.
