Using the springboard of National Foster Care Month, Hephzibah Ministries, Inc. is excited to announce action taken at the most recent meeting of the Board of Directors while participating in the Great Smoky Mountain Gathering in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. During their strategic planning session, as they evaluated current and future ministry possibilities, it was determined that Hephzibah will launch Hephzibah Ministries National Foster Care Initiative.

Building on Hephzibah’s 115-year history of caring for at-risk children and families from its Middle-Georgia campus, this initiative will concentrate on establishing partnerships with local Wesleyan churches in addressing the opportunities of ministering to foster children and their foster parent care givers.

Currently, Hephzibah is identifying those persons within The Wesleyan Church who have specific interest in and experience with the foster care system and needs in their local communities. Together we believe we can make a difference for some of the 397,122* children who are living without permanent families in the foster care system within the U.S. If you have interest or expertise in this ministry opportunity, please communicate with Hephzibah directly at 478.477.3383 (extension 103) or by e-mail at info@hephzibah.com.
