Logan Nelson, a 21-year-old Indiana Wesleyan University junior, was killed Tuesday in a vehicle accident.

Nelson, a general studies major from Elkhart, Ind., was riding his motorcycle in Elkhart County, when a pickup truck struck him. He died on the scene from the injuries he suffered in the collision.

“On this day as we mourn this tremendous and unexpected loss, I call upon our community to pray for all who knew Logan–that they would feel tremendous comfort through the presence of the Holy Spirit,” said Dr. David Wright, Indiana Wesleyan president. “Pray for Logan’s parents, David and Kimberly. Pray for his brothers, Colton and Nathan, who are both IWU alumni. Pray for Logan’s friends who are also trying to come to terms with this tragedy.”
