Around 15,000 guests will pass through Indiana Wesleyan University’s main Marion campus in the coming weeks during IWU’s summer conferencing season.

Notable events happening on campus this summer include the annual convention for the National Christian College Athletics Association (May 29-31), The Wesleyan Church Missionary Training Institute (June 15-28), the Innovations in Faith-Based Nursing Conference (June 16-19), a concert by Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass (June 17), the IWU Chinese Cultural Immersion Program (July 12-30) and a youth camp sponsored by Willow Creek Community Church (July 18-21).

A team of students has devoted their summer vacation to assist IWU Conference Services by serving as a hospitality team for the conference guests.

“Summer conferencing is a wonderful opportunity to offer Christian hospitality and share our facilities and outstanding staff with so many guests,” said Dr. Keith Newman, executive vice president and CEO of residential education. “We’re blessed by the presence of those who come here, and we work hard to be a blessing in return.”
