Torrential downpours notwithstanding, Sunday, January 18, saw a great crowd gather at the brand new South Campus of Real Life in California, Maryland. The worship space was filled to capacity and the atmosphere was electric as the people sang, celebrated, and heard a sermon on what it means to take a risk for God.

Children were greeted by an excited staff of nursery and children’s workers who led them into a newly remodeled and painted children’s area. Parents were glad to leave off their children as kids ran into the room with great excitement.

In total the launch reached 160 people, which includes some who are making the permanent transition off the main campus, others who are there to support the launch temporarily, and about 15-20% who were at Real Life for the very first time. Pastor Shane Beauvais and his staff have been following up with visitors and can’t wait to move on to the next chapters of the story God is writing at Real Life South.
