The 2014-15 school year is off to a great start at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Okla. The university has announced its sixth consecutive year of record enrollment.

The OKWU admissions staff, led by Director Samantha Peterson and OKWU Vice President John Means, worked hard to recruit a strong incoming class. Combined with returning students, total enrollment stands at 1,638 students for the 2014 fall semester.

This fall will be the first time OKWU’s three new master’s programs will be offered, which include strategic leadership, nursing, and theology & apologetics. In the spring, OKWU will host its second annual Josh McDowell Institute for Christian Apologetics Conference featuring nationally and internationally renowned apologists.

In addition to growing educationally, OKWU’s athletic programs have also seen tremendous growth and the university has accepted an invitation to join the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) in the fall 2015 season.
