The following is a listing of Wesleyan pastors, missionaries and leaders who have passed away. These notices were received August 10 – 31.
Dora Lois Coile Wiggins (83) died June 7. She served with her husband, Rev. James E. Wiggins, in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and in the South Carolina District.
Warrenne Drown (86) died August 9. She served with her husband, Rev. Dale Drown, in Kansas and Nebraska.
Rev. Thelma Dorothy Brown (99) died August 15. She pastored in California and Michigan alongside her husband, Rev. D. Wayne Brown, former general secretary and treasurer for The Wesleyan Church.
Rev. Milton Bagley (90) died August 18. He pastored in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada, and Maine and Michigan in the United States. He also served as missionary with Wesleyan World Missions (now Global Partners) in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Liberia.
Rev. Benjamin Capshaw (41) died August 19. He pastored in Indiana and Michigan.
Kathleen Olive Morehouse (92) died August 24. She served with her husband, Rev. Ronald Morehouse, in the Atlantic District.
Rev. Verl A. Light (81) died August 25. He pastored in Ohio.
