A new church plant in Sandy Lake, Penn., was deemed a success and not because the Sunday service went as planned. Oasis, a ministry of Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church, reported that two people placed their faith in Jesus and three others redicated their lives during the first offical worship service of more than 150 attendees. Oasis is currently meeting at Meadville Middle School.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers player, Jeff Hartings, did a live interview with Pastor Nate Alsdorf on the topic “Making a Comeback Relationallly.” The following week Pastor Alsdorf interviewed former Steeler Robin Cole on “Making a Comeback from Life’s Challenges.”
Leaders are amazed at how God has prepared the way and provided for the birth of the campus plant.
