Students at two Wesleyan universities gathered to celebrate the lives of two of their own who unexpectedly passed away this summer.
Matthew Pass (pictured right), a Kingswood University student, passed away May 29, 2016. Vincent “Vinny” Kurtz (pictured left), who attended Indiana Wesleyan University, passed away August 29.
Kingswood honored Matthew during a September 9 memorial service at its Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada, campus. Matt was an honor student in the pastoral ministry program. Ryan Generaux presented the eulogy at Matthew’s memorial service, referencing his friend’s “amazing sense of humor, talkative, fun-loving nature, his vulnerability, and his genuine care of other people.” President Dr. Stephen Lennox presented the Matthew Pass Memorial Scholarship to fellow student Noah Wiebe.
