Welcome to EMPOWERED, the 15th General Conference of The Wesleyan Church (TWC)!
Excitement filled the air as Wesleyans from the North America Conference of The Wesleyan Church gathered on May 17, 2026, at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Throughout the day, attendees reconnected and celebrated together in the exhibit halls, workshops and over meals in Barnes Student Center.
The spirit of celebration continued into Sunday evening’s opening rally, which was marked by praise and worship. Through Scripture, song and prayer, the congregation was invited to welcome and worship our holy God. As everyone gathered around the Word and Table, God’s presence drew near and prepared hearts for the week ahead.

Elections
- The 15th General Conference will be called to order on Monday, May 18 at 8:15 a.m. in Luckey Arena. Delegates will be presented with nominations and vote on the election of TWC’s General Superintendent and general directors for the 2026-2030 term.
Memorials
- Consent agenda, statutory and constitutional memorials will be considered in both the morning and afternoon sessions of Monday’s conference. Some memorials under consideration include general officer election changes, Colleagues in Ministry Discipline update and Haiti becoming an Established National Conference.
