On June 8, at General Conference, new General Superintendent Dr. Wayne Schmidt, the other five general officers, and the 24 area representatives on the General Board were installed.
General Superintendent Dr. Wayne Schmidt called the Church to focused prayer as he reminded the assembly of the primacy of the Great Commission and being the apostolic church.
On June 7, at the 2016 General Conference in Buffalo, N.Y., the following area representatives of the General Board of The Wesleyan Church were elected and will serve the Church for the next 4 years.
Under Dunn’s leadership, Church Multiplication and Discipleship became a hub of local church empowerment in the denomination. Dunn’s leadership always reflected his love for the local church.
