So that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)

Veronica wasn’t sure this was a good idea anymore. The brochures had made planning their visit to the French Alps so exciting, but as they began the ascent in the cable car up the mountain, her heart began racing. When it stopped midway, Veronica felt a little relief and contemplated waiting there while her friends continued on. The sun was blinding on the crisp snow, and it was colder now than at the base of the mountain. But as she stared out from the terraced landing, she knew she had to keep going. She had waited all year for this.

Aiguille du Midi loomed ahead in the brilliant sun at an incredible 12,000 feet above sea level. This is where she would have to place her trust in the engineers who had created “Step into the Void.” The glass cube allowed tourists to walk out over a precipice with the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps all in view. Her knees shook, and she desperately wanted to hang on to something, but she moved out onto the glass floor anyway. Only then could she fully take in the beauty of being enveloped by the blue sky, mountain peaks, and fresh, white snow.

We are co-heirs with Christ. When we step out in faith, our eyes are opened to the beautiful inheritance he shares with us.

Walk confidently in all you have inherited as a co-heir with Christ.
