If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom. 8:31)

WE ARE THE ONLY ONES who can successfully oppose the Creator. By choosing our own paths in life, right or wrong, we separate ourselves from God. While he is still for us in every way, we must intentionally remove ourselves from him. No one else can take us away without our permission. In similar fashion, no one can bring us to the Lord; we must come by our own volition.

At the fall of man in the garden of Eden, we ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. That action gave us the choice by which we would live: good or evil. God has an unending call for us to choose well, to choose to follow him. Our selfishness and our desires call us away from him.

All the calamities on earth that we could face have been conquered by our heavenly Father. No enemy has ever won the war; no enemy ever will.

Because, in the end, good triumphs over evil. The Lord God, who has knowledge of everything and knows the story from beginning to end, has told us how things turn out; God will win! If we are on his side, we will win with him.

Choose the winning side!
