Dr. Jim Garlow, pastor at Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego, Calif., spoke last month at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City at the Uniting Nations for a Family Friendly World Event held in the ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) Chamber.
Twenty-six member nations of the United Nations hosted the event on “natural marriage and the family.” Preceding Garlow were two clergy from New York City: a Muslim Imam and a Catholic priest. In addition to presentations by a panel of scholars, ambassadors and representatives from the 26 United Nations member nations spoke in favor of support for natural marriage and the family.
