Blg Flats Church preparing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes

Dozens of volunteers at Big Flats Wesleyan Church in Big Flats, N.Y., recently spent time preparing more than 1,300 boxes of gifts for children to be sent around the world. The initiative is an annual event through Operation Christmas Child.

Proposed homeless shelter receives approval

Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church’s proposed homeless shelter has been approved by the local zoning board. The shelter will house up to 18 people.

Papua New Guinea’s Fugwa Health Centre recognized as one of the best

Wesleyan-run health clinic Fugwa Health Centre, in Papua New Guinea (PNG), is in the news, as an oil company affiliated with a local health foundation paid a visit. Oil Search Limited’s Managing Director Peter Botten said the clinic is one of the “best rural health facilities he had visited in PNG.”

IWU recognized for expansion in Australia

Indiana Wesleyan University has expanded to Sydney, Australia. The Wesley Institute is a “full-fledged Australian university.”

OKWU to help students pay off school loans

Oklahoma Wesleyan University is offering a loan repayment assistance program for students who go on to graduate. Read more about PURSUE here.
