On October 1, 2026, the Board of Directors of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) elected Reverend Jenn Peterson, president and chief executive officer of World Hope International, a member-at-large to the board. Peterson joins other Wesleyan leaders who bring their voices and guidance to the broader Evangelical church:

Jim Dunn, General Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church of North America
Shirley Mullen, president emerita, Houghton University
Joanne Solis-Walker, associate dean of La Mesa Academy for Theological Studies, Candler School of Theology

Together with other evangelical leaders from 40 denominations, thousands of churches, schools and non-profit organizations, these Wesleyans are helping the NAE bring biblical clarity to complex issues, give voice to the gospel and seeking justice and righteousness in broken places. Through this work, they hope to see lives and communities transformed by the gospel.
