WHETHER DEPICTING A PROPHET’S tears, a father’s prayers, or angels keeping watch, Ron DiCianni’s paintings have inspired a spiritual awakening in his audience. He is best known for his painting Spiritual Warfare that has sold tens of millions of prints. His work has appeared at the Moscow Olympics and on the covers of books by authors Frank Peretti, Max Lucado, and Joni Eareckson Tada. He spent two years painting the Resurrection Mural, currently displayed in the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, Texas. The painting (twelve feet high and forty feet wide) has a cast of Bible characters—Moses, Elijah, David, Esther, Daniel, Isaiah, Abraham, John the Baptist, angels, and Roman guards. All witness Jesus emerge from the tomb, pushing away the stone with His hands, and gazing upward toward the Father. He carries the keys to death and hell on His belt.
Ron DiCianni’s paintings will impact people’s lives forever. The contributions we make for God will move in people’s hearts today and continue to fulfill God’s purpose in the new heaven and new earth, whether we teach, preach, sing, play musical instruments, or work in the performing arts. What we do now is preparation for all God has planned for us. My desire is to have Jesus find me serving Him upon His second coming, and hear Him say, “Well done, my good servant.”
