Education and Clergy Development is advancing Christian higher education through a new initiative called WE5 that celebrates the combined strength and ongoing impact of the five colleges and universities of The Wesleyan Church: Houghton College, Indiana Wesleyan University, Kingswood University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Southern Wesleyan University.

WE5 is designed to proactively equip students, parents and Wesleyan Church leaders with the knowledge and tools about our five Wesleyan schools to help them with enrollment decisions. Information topics include financial aid, campus visit and academic programs.

“The men and women who attend our schools receive a high-quality education that propels them into successful careers but, more importantly, they receive a transformative discipleship experience which deepens their faith in Christ and sets their trajectory to transform lives, churches and communities around the world,” said Rev. Russ Gunsalus, executive director of Education and Clergy Development.

“Our hope through WE5 is to increase awareness of and interest in the 212 academic programs offered in our five Wesleyan schools,” Gunsalus added. “Our graduates take with them the necessary academic credentials to succeed in their chosen fields, as well as the life-changing impact of studying in a Christ-centered learning environment. Every graduation is the sending out of women and men equipped to be a transforming presence. We celebrate each of them and the institutions that educate them.”
