You are clothed with splendor and majesty. He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent. (Ps. 104:1–2)

“LET’S JUST STICK TO RIGHT HERE, right now, and my little life,” said nine-year-old Davis, rubbing his furrowed brow. “That’s all my brain can handle right now.” He was recovering from watching IMAX Hubble 3D with his dad and was completely bowled over by the stunning images and the unbelievable facts he learned.

Consider this: Our sun is so big that one million earths could fit in its volume. Yet, in comparison to other stars, our sun is relatively small. Some supergiant stars have a radius over one thousand times the size of our sun! The sun is just one of hundreds of billions of stars that make up our galaxy, the Milky Way. There are millions and millions of similar galaxies in space. Fiery, brilliant suns lighting up our night sky. Spinning planets. Orbiting moons. Comets, asteroids, meteors. All flung up against the backdrop of the inky blackness of space. Our God made it all!

When we really consider it, what other response can we have but awe and worship? This beyond-human-comprehension universe points us to the glorious splendor and majesty of our Creator! Will you praise Him for His glory today?

Stand in awe and worship our glorious Creator.
