World Hope International has been the key partner of The Wesleyan Church in the battle against the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone. Thousands of lives were lost before the spread of the virus was slowed down.

This outbreak has still not been fully eradicated, but the number of new cases has slowed dramatically compared to months ago.

Part of the battle strategy has centered around establishing a network of Community Care Centers: new medical facilities located closer to the people to receive and care for the sick.

Carrie Jo Cain helps tell the story in this truly moving two-minute video.

Gifts to finish the battle against Ebola can still be received through the Wesleyan Emergency Relief Fund (WERF).
