This Christmas, a North Michigan District church gave generously on a global scale to those in need.
Fremont Wesleyan Church in Fremont, Mich., in partnership with a community donor, raised $20,600 toward a matching grant through World Hope International (WHI). The money raised will fund the installation of a clean water well in West Africa. The gift to WHI was part of Fremont Wesleyan’s Advent Conspiracy Project.
Also as part of the Advent Conspiracy Project, Fremont Wesleyan:
- gave $5,000 for assistance to Casa Hogar Orphanage in Honduras
- shipped 182 gift boxes to children through Samaritan’s Purse International
- sponsored 15 children from around the globe, also through World Hope International.
The Advent Conspiracy Project encourages Christ followers to turn Christmas upside down, investing resources where the greatest need can be met. The Fremont Wesleyan Church family gives praise to God for the privilege of bringing the gospel, clean water, health, and education to the people of the world.
