Oklahoma Wesleyan University is the sixth best college in the West, according to rankings to be published in the 2015 U.S. Best Colleges Guide. For the twelfth year in a row, OKWU has found itself among other tier one, top colleges.

This recognition keeps improving as OKWU continues to update and upgrade its beautiful campus, as well as, launch several new programs. In particular, this fall the university launched three new masters programs. Now offering a master of science in strategic leadership, master of science in nursing and master of art in theology & apologetics.

In addition, the faculty have been recognized for several years for being ranked top in the nation by providing students with both excellent teaching and the benefit of personal attention that it’s hard to get elsewhere.

“OKWU continues to be recognized for its excellence because of, and not in spite of, its bold Christian identity,” President Everett Piper said. “We are proving over and over again that the best education is grounded in the best ideas: those immutable truths found exclusively in a biblical worldview.”

Last year OKWU was ranked No. 8 in the west regional college category. There are several factors that are weighed into the rankings which include student-faculty ratio, ACT/SAT scores, acceptance rate, peer assessment, freshmen retention, and class size.
