The Wesleyan Church is pleased to announce their partnership with Missio Nexus and the Church Connection Tour. We invite you to join us, along with fellow pastors, church planters and mission leaders, for this one-day event to explore approaches, resources and partnerships for developing church-based ministry to immigrants, refugees and international students.

The Church Connection Tour will feature case studies from churches in the US and Canada, table group discussions and presentations from leaders with on-the-ground experience.

US presenters include J.D. Payne, Pastor of Church Multiplication at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama and author of Strangers Next Door: Migration, Immigration and Mission; Matthew Soerens, US Church Training Manager at World Relief and co-author of Welcoming the Stranger: Justice, Compassion and Truth in the Immigration Debate; and Damon Schroeder, Executive Director of the Church-Based Immigrant Ministry Coalition, a joint effort of the National Association of Evangelicals, World Relief and numerous church denominations.

Attendees will also receive a free copy of Strangers Next Door: Migration, Immigration and Mission by J.D. Payne and a special edition recorded webinar of Evangelism and Church Planting Receptivity and Best Practices Among First Generation Immigrants by Ed Stetzer, President of Lifeway Research, and Lizette Beard, Project Manager for LifeWay Research. Lunch will also be provided.

Join us for one of these five regional events in June: Baltimore on June 5, Los Angeles on June 12, Toronto on June 17, Chicago on June 19 and Atlanta on June 26.
