I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. (Job 42:2)
IF THERE IS ONE THING we can depend on, it’s that God can do all things. Our finite minds and limited imaginations will fail to confirm His grand plans and His trustworthiness to complete them. The declaration of His ability to finish what He has begun escapes us when we are demanding our own way. In our stubbornness, we cannot see that His ways are higher than our ways, and not to be traded for a smaller plan.
When we open our eyes to see and our ears to hear all the wonderful things He does for us, we will never choose anything but His high road. He has already decided our path, and if we will choose it, He delights in showing us the perfect fit it makes. He has a purpose for us. We lean into His understanding to succeed in that purpose so we will see His hand in it all and desire to give Him all the glory for His handiwork.
Only when we have personal rapport with Him will we know the joy of His pleasure as we walk in His design for us. The knowledge of His unmistakable working in our lives takes away all excuses not to trust Him. We don’t get to decide that He is faithful—He is faithful, and not one person or thing can change that.
Praise God today for His unique plan for you.
