On September 15, Typhoon Mangkhut hit the Philippines with the strength similar to that of a category 5 hurricane.

World Hope International (WHI), the relief and development partner of The Wesleyan Church, has been working alongside local Wesleyan churches in the country to distribute supplies to those deeply affected by the storm.

Talmage Payne, WHI country director for Cambodia and the Philippines, said the team is, “enabling the Wesleyan community in the United States and the Philippines to be the whole gospel.”
