A beloved leader in The Wesleyan Church has passed away.
Rev. David LeRoy, age 64, died in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, September 6. An ordained minister with the Atlantic District, he served as district superintendent of the Dakota District from 1993 to 1997, and of the Atlantic District from 2007 to 2012. He also pastored in the Atlantic and Central New York districts.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne; three sons, Jonathan, Andrew and James; six grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
The service celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Kingswood University Saunders Irving Chapel, New Brunswick, Canada. Visitation will take place at the same location on Friday, September 8, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 9, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
