On Wednesday, June 8, the final morning of the 2016 General Conference, the morning began with an installation service. Installed were new General Superintendent Dr. Wayne Schmidt, the other five general officers, and the 24 area representatives on the General Board.
Assisting General Superintendent Emeritus Dr. Jo Anne Lyon in the installation were General Superintendent Dr. Alberto Patacsil of the Philippines General Conference and General Superintendent Dr. Joel Cumberbatch of the Caribbean General Conference.
